Freight forwarders: one place for quotes, shipments and status

Your customers ask “where is my cargo?” on WhatsApp, in Spanish and in English, and your team answers from the forwarding system, the carrier's site and a spreadsheet. We build the portal, the notifications and the integrations on top of the system you already run, so the customer gets the answer before they ask.

Common situations

Half my day is answering status questions for shipments that are exactly where the system says they are.

A bilingual customer portal that reads milestones from Magaya, CargoWise or your system, and pushes a WhatsApp or email update when something changes. The customer looks it up; your team stops being the lookup service.

Quotes live in email threads, and when a tariff changes nobody can find the last version.

A quote-to-booking flow with one record per shipment: the request, the rate, the accepted version and the booking, with a paid deposit when you want one. Rates come from your tables, not from memory.

Our customers track in three places and none of them agree.

One tracking view under your brand that reconciles your forwarding system, carrier events and your own warehouse milestones, with a nightly report of what does not match.

Our Mexican customers will not pay until they get a valid factura, and our system only prints an invoice.

A CFDI 4.0 layer that issues the Mexican electronic invoice from your billing record, stamped and stored, with the Carta Porte complement when goods move by road inside Mexico.

CFDI 4.0 e-invoicing for US companies doing business in Mexico

Documents arrive three times, by email, WhatsApp and a photo of a photo.

A document center in the portal where the customer uploads once, your team sees it attached to the shipment, and the customer downloads the bill of lading and the invoice without asking.

What we build for forwarders

Customer portals, quote flows, notifications and integrations on top of your current operating system. We do not replace Magaya, CargoWise or whatever runs your operation; we read from it through its API or exports, keep it as the source of truth, and build the customer-facing layer your customers in Latin America expect: Spanish and English, mobile-first, with payments in US dollars and amounts shown in their currency.

We have not shipped a logistics case yet, and we say so on every page. What we can show is close: a bilingual quote-to-payment flow in two currencies for a transportation company, where no PayPal charge is ever left without its booking: the booking is saved before the charge and an automatic reconciliation closes the gaps; the real-time messaging, WhatsApp Business API and voice integrations inside our own platform; and a CFDI e-invoicing module built and tested with real stamps in its test environment. That is why every forwarder engagement starts with a one-week, fixed-price architecture review rather than a proposal written from the outside.

Questions · Freight forwarders

Do you replace our forwarding system?

No. Magaya, CargoWise or your current system stays the system of record. We build on top of it and read from it, and your operations team keeps working where it works today.

Can our customers use the portal in Spanish?

Yes. Every screen and every notification ships in English and Spanish, written by native Spanish speakers rather than translated at the end.

How do we start?

With a one-week, $2,500 architecture review of your system, its API or exports, your documents and where the customer questions come from. You get a written report and a fixed price for the build.

What does freight forwarder software development cost with you?

The review is $2,500 and a portal MVP starts at $35,000 for six to eight weeks of build; monthly support starts at $1,800. All rates are published on the pricing page and the exact number is in the written scope.

Do you know Magaya and CargoWise?

We know how to integrate systems through their APIs and exports, and we are honest that we have not shipped a logistics case yet. The review is where we confirm what your version exposes before we promise anything.

Who owns the portal?

The code lives in your repository and the portal runs in your cloud account; code and IP ownership are set out in writing in the proposal and the contract.

Can you handle Mexican invoicing for our cross-border lanes?

Yes. When your Mexican entity issues CFDI 4.0 invoices, or Carta Porte complements for goods transported inside Mexico, we build that layer and connect it to your billing records; which documents apply to each lane is for your Mexican accountant to confirm. Details on the Mexico e-invoicing page.
